Upholstery tacks come in two different forms, fine & improved. Improved have broader heads, whilst fine have slimmer. Both come in a variety of lengths. Your choice will be dictated by the dimensions of the rail you are attaching to. Both are used for a variety of upholstery jobs such as attaching webbing, hessian, temporary tacking your fabric in place etc.
